What's the scariest film you ever saw
Jump to: Newest in thread
I remember being shit scared as a kid watching zombie flesh eaters , didn't sleep for a week lol
Southern comfort scared the crap out of me too
And threads the British nuke film , that fucked me up for a while . Nowadays nothing really gets me , it's all jump scares now , no real phycological fear inducing stuff |

Shining is still the best for me.
Recent horrors the only one for years that unsettled me is It Follows
All the ones nowadays are just too reliant on jump scares. That’s not for me. I like creepy over cheap jumps |

Exactly my choice too. It was like guess who's the next one to turn.

I don’t really scare with this , I love as much gore as possible x
Love the twist in Saw but not scary . Paranormal Activity was jumpy as things happen in the corners of the screen .
But as a kid Alien , Jaws and salems lot were scary in sense of my age x |

Its the ending of The Thing it still gets me, who is real? Either, neither? Only other film to get me like that was Invasion of The Body Snatchers the Donald Sutherland film, its that whole people looking and sounding like they should, but knowing its not really them that really freaks me out! |

Think I was about 10, was visiting my grandma's and my uncle n cousins were there watching a horror film where a deranged sister was killing her other sisters friends/family, dobermans ripping throats out, threats been cut by knives etc, ended up she sat them all round the table dripping blood everywhere for her sisters birthday party.... |

"Watership down - as a young kid it was quite traumatic, it still is today!
It's been a while since I last saw a horror movie which actually frightened me, I find them all quite predictable now "
Still can't believe they allowed us to watch that at primary school end of term for us moving up to secondary school |

I think the scariest things I've ever watched are the ones where I sit there wondering what kind of mind came up with the story line or idea
This would include,
The human centipede
The original IT
And the really gory stuff like the hills have eyes 2 and hostel 2.
The scariest part has to be who came up with that?

One thing thing that did scare me though and I found truly frightening to watch was the series Chernobyl.
That shit is real. That's scary. Not a film though. |

For me, I was about seven or eight years old when I watched Dawn of the dead, it shit me up because I had to walk through a dark field going home that night, I can remember a total stranger with an out station and I just kept near him all the way until I got to the road |

I’m an adult and I know it’s a film so I don’t get scared. But the best horror films I have enjoyed other ones that make wide awake. Haha.
The last one that I enjoyed like that is called, let me in. It will never be the best horror film, but it’s definitely better than some of the ones I saw before it. It’s not a Hollywood one, which is always good. |
