I noticed the white plastic condensation pipe coming out my combi boiler is leaking.
Think basically just the glue has worn on one of the joints on the plastic pipe which is leading the condensation pipe into my kitchen trap.
Any idea what I could use to seal the join? (Plastic on plastic joint).
Don't really wanna have to call out boiler company for that |

"Finger a bit of mastic around the joint after you dried it properly might have to turn the boiler off for a while to stop the drip
Was thinking ct 1 or lsx leak sealer?" CT1 goes rock hard and might crack with heat changes maybe , mastic will flex |

Buy some solvent weld from Screwfix. The pipe will just be pushed into the rubber outlet underneath the boiler.
Easiest way would be to turn the boiler off, blow down the pipe (ooo -errr), leave to dry for a couple of hours, theb solvent weld around the joint that's leaking. Leave it for 15 mins, then just connect it back up.

Give it a twist and push at the same time, most likely the slight vibration has loosened it a tad. It's only a condensation pipe so no pressure. Or collect the water and use it it in your steam iron. |

Wish I could post a picture on here lol.
Yea it's not blocked its literally just where the plastic out pipe joins I to the 90? plastic join.
I dont think I could take it off myself because it's awkward where it is so kinda hoping I can just put some more seal around it on the outside |

The answer to your solution is in this thread already. It's now down to you to extract that information and ignore the rest |

"Some PTFE tape should sort it.
That’s for threaded joints chunky and won’t stop a leak used externally imho.
T"
Yes it's on the outside of the pipe. It's just the glue has failed on one tiny area and is there something I can put on the outside to seal it |

Solvent cement. Take the fitting apart make sure it’s dry (turn the boiler off) then apply a small amount around the pipe and push the fitting back on mate. Jobs a gooden. |

"I have used "WaterWeld" epoxy potty and it has proved very effective. It also sticks to plastic underwater. Get it from Ama**n. "
I think you are very brave coming onto a social media site to admit using an epoxy potty.
May I suggest not drinking too much before bedtime. |
