So I was invited today to meet a couple at their home, communication was a little short, and they had good verifications from some clubs. Arranged a meet for the evening, and then I was hit with a “oh by the way there is a tip jar”
I immediately told them what for and there are other sites for that… but am I missing something, is this a thing?? |

Were they wanting money in it or actual written tips?
Such as….
Next time you invite me around please …..(fill in the blanks)
But in all honesty I thought asking for money was against site rules |

Where was the tip jar located??? Was it by the door? Was it labelled?
If I had a tip jar I would cover it in fancy glitter and sit it next to the feedback forms. Each person would get a free pen to take away
Have they considered setting themselves up on trip advisor? |

You see I’m originally from St Albans, and locals are referred to as Albanians.. apologies if that came across odd… x did like your comment x

This is a thing in online writing, because writing is work and many people expect it for free.
Meeting for sex, however, is not work (except where it's sex work which shouldn't be on here). It'd be like having a tip jar for going out to dinner with your friends. £1 for scintillating conversation, good job |

Maybe the tip jar was for all the uncircumcised guys who started forum threads asking about foreskin preferences and who decided that they'd boost their chances getting cut?
Just a thought......
*obvs not a thought worth thinking about if you're having late breakfast. |

"Thats a strange one! We have paid couples who host parties a small fee which goes towards the costs of the party i.e. refreshments, condoms etc but never been asked to leave a tip! "
Yeah I've done things like I travel, you get the hotel, you get the drinks I'll get the food but... not the same. |

Getting back on topic...
Years ago, I was driving in the Scottish Highlands and was invited via amateur radio to call in and have a coffee with a local.
On the kitchen table, at which we sat, was a jar marked 'Coffee Fund'. I'm not sure whether it had more to do with him being Scottish or a radio ham!
I think that the couple referred to in this thread might do better to call it a condom fund and accept either cash donations or French letters of credit. |

The only time I could imagine that been remotely acceptable would be at a gangbang in a hotel/Airbnb. We have been asked before about accepting contributions but we always decline because we feel like it creates an entitlement if things don't go to plan.
We do this for fun as a hobby. 99.9% of hobbies cost money. We don't view this any differently, so why should others pay for our hobby. |

I tend to go, everyone covers their own expenses unless we're good friends and we can discuss this kind of thing comfortably. |

"I’m surprised they didn’t have a Visitor's Book too or a Feedback Form?
Link to a trip advisor page "
My exact thought!
