Blimey, I usually have a nose around the forums for a bit of entertainment but as I’m approaching my 50th this is making me think I should just focus on things old folk do such as wearing a coat in the summer, buying boiled sweets and making the house smell of cabbage!

I would want to make sure she was above age of consent. I do not chat up very young women in public so it would have to be at a place where there is proper age verification. I had sex with a 21-year old woman who was with her 70+ year old man. We swapped, he fucked my 40 year old partner, I fucked his 21 year old partner. I doubt it, its not something I'm comfortable with as a concept. For me it's too young. Everyone is different in terms of maturity for their age. I'm not here to underestimate the 18 year olds on the scene or say they haven't got the right to join in. However as a generalisation it's all a bit barely Legal by default in vibe for my liking. Especially when your talking a significant age gap with women who have only just inched passed to line into adulthood from adolescent. And just because someone is just technically mature enough, doesn't mean they are. That's not me judging others by the way, just my personal feelings on the matter. Plus as someone who generally has tended to be attracted to women older than me it's maybe less likely I'd be attracted to someone that young anyways (even when I was younger).
However on the club scene age is not something I really discuss. I take people as I find them on a personal level. And to be fair there are some impressive young women out there who have a lot about them. So in theory it's possibly conceivable. But the extent of their youth would probably so through and (as above) I tent not to find attraction or as much in common with very young women. |

Very unlikely... I know I sound like a grumpy old man, but what do you even talk about with someone that age.... It's hard to find common ground when your life experiences are just so far apart. I find most teenagers to be painfully nieve and woefully inexperienced about life and the real world,outside of school or college. Even a couple of years make the world of difference at that age.
And let's be honest most people under 22 haven't got the faintest clue about satisfying their own body and, and pleasures and desires, never mind what to do with someone else's...
Yes there are no doubt some exeptions. But I'd honestly just feel dirty and pervy with a girl or a boy that young. |

No I wouldn’t, I’d respect them as an adult but something like that just feels predatory and more a certain Jimmy S type thing. They’re barely adults and out of childhood, they’re vulnerable as they have little life experience with most having little to no experience outside of college or university. Very easy for older adults to exploit and sadly they do. I think there definitely needs to be stickers laws with much older adults trying to strike up relationships with people that are barely adults if I’m really honest  |

Nope. I know it's legal, but I'd be uncomfortable being intimate with someone under 21. I don't relate as well in general with people under 25 anyway; too jaded and grumpy to deal with the youth of today. |

Honestly? Because I find the idea of your average 50 yr old man, with all his life experience, banging an 18yr old rather predatory behaviour. The power dynamic does not sit comfortably with me.

I'd say no...
On some levels males me a bit uncomfortable the age gap..
But I also understand at 18 I'd have fucked an older women so is that double standards.
Also I'd have zero in common with a 18 year old.. and for me chemistry is more important than physical attraction *which is also needed. So it would be a non starter.
I had a 19 year old basically offer herself on a plate to me when I was about 36 ish...
I get how that could seem fantasy territory for a lot of men (she was very attractive) but in the moment my paternal nature kicked in (even though I was not yet a father at the time) I just thought as flattering as it might seem... what she is after / needs isn't me getting a ego boosting fuck or three.

Odd question.
The gap between 18 & 30 is 12 years. The gap between 18 & 50 is 32.
No comparison.
Plenty of 30 year old would happily fuck a 42 year old or older.
I suspect the issue that it's an 18 year old rather than the actual theoretical age gap.
There's a bigger gap than with an 18 and 30 year old between my current partner and I. When I first joined the site in my early thirties I met a 19 year old (she's still on here too) and she was considerably more mature than many in their twenties and thirties.
I don't think there's a one size all answer I'm afraid, even if the majority say a simple 'no'. |
