"Morning lovely, my bestie goes away alone lots she recently went to Palma and loved it.
Hope you have a great time away!
Could do with a holiday myself.
Mrs "
Thank you.
I'm heading to Paris at the end of Feb but I think thats going to by quite a full on weekend so need something that's proper chill out for my next one.
You definitely need a holiday!
I recently discovered the joy of extreme day trips which are great fun and less expensive than a night out. |

"Marrakesh looks interesting place "
It’s great to explore and just relax, no plans just go with how you feel
A trip up into the Atlas Mountains is the only real trip I planned |

I'm sure it's lovely but I keep seeing it mentioned here and a swinging holiday isn't what I want! |

You don't have to use it in that context, as it's a place for different walks of life, not only just for swingers. But that's fair enough. Hope you find what you're looking for and have a great time. x |

Barcelona is ideal for a weekend break. Nice city, not too far, plenty to see and has a beach if you want to chill. |

Second vote for Barcelona. Went for the first time last September and instantly fell in love with the place |

It’s lovely down there , also close by is Vias Sete and Marseillan. A long drive though and flights to Montpellier aren’t cheap
Ince there beaches and food are amazing & It’s just a short drive into the mountains to Andora or around the coast to Figures to birthplace of Salvador Dali and check out his crazy house/museum |

"I don’t really do beach/sun/relax holidays. City breaks are more my thing. And for that, I’ve really enjoyed Athens, Barcelona and Los Angeles."
I'm loving city breaks too. New York is on my list for December |

TUI is currently doing a very cheap All Inclusive to Marrakesh but I've not been able to convince anyone to go with me!
The reason I'd like to go is to visit Yes Saint Laurent Museum and Jardin Majorelle.
Was the Atlas Mountains trek worth it?

"Nice / Monaco
Direct flight to Nice from Edinburgh. "
Monaco’s great for a day and night visit, but unless you have friends there (or are going for the F1) there’s not a lot of reasons to stay longer.
It’s a dead fast train ride from Nice though, so a two-city holiday works well. Last time I was there I was with a big bunch of friends and we took an AirBnB in the middle of Nice, then had an overnight in Monaco for cocktails and casino action. |

Be warned it could be very cold in December. I was in NYC for Thanksgiving (25 Nov)... Ok admittedly I was on the outdoor deck of the Empire State but not only did my lips freeze but they cracked and bled! Don't forget the lipbalm! |

I did Palma last year on my own, Ca'n pastilla 5 minutes from the airport. Adults only Hotel, some great restaurants with a nice relaxed vibe. I'm sure you'd enjoy that. |

I’ve just got back from 10 days on my own in Jordan. Work not pleasure but a trip down south is worth it
Would love to go to Marrakech but not sure I’d do it on my own tbh.
Highly recommend Rhodes - just choose the right town / resort. Was at an adult all inclusive 5 star last year and loved it |

Marrakech is nice but not if you're looking for beach of course. Was 32 last year in Feb when I went! Very easy on your own. I was alone with a 9 month old. Did an Atlas mountain trek too which is worth doing.
Maderira?, good weather now, beaches won't be overly crowded.
Ohrid in North Macedonia. Beautiful, chilled out and cheap. But for really good weather leave it a few months. Again went on my own, no problem. |

We did Rhodes 2 years ago, stopped in a villa just outside of Pefkos, although I think its currently out of season their at the moment so most of the restaurants and shops will be closed, but certainly recommend that during the summer |

My dad has a place on the Dordogne river in the south of France, a couple of hours inland from Bordeaux and about 90 mins from the Spanish border.
Little village up in the hills in the middle of nowhere. Pool in the back garden, bar in the village square. The nearest supermarket is a 45 minute drive away. It's so peaceful, just the p effect place to absolutely unwind and feel your stresses dropping away.
Google a place called Limeuil and just look at it |

Greek Islands are always a good option. Last year I had a cheap week in Lesbos which was fantastic. I'm off to Athens alone in March. It depends if you are after a lazy sunshine break or exploring and culture. |

I have no suggestions for you but are loving all the ideas. I joined a site for extreme day trips that detail loads of places to get to in just a day from the uk. I just want to go to them all and feel some sun. |

Whitley Bay |
Majorca
Ibiza
These three are great for relaxing. Hire a car, stay in a couple of different parts. Each of these places have super relaxation or wild places for snorkeling and hiking.
Corfu or other smaller Greek islands are gorgeous for seclusion and peace.
If you want a more adventurous time.. Try Tenereife North, Goa, Marakkesh, Lanzerote or La Gomera |

I've had some great solo holidays in ibiza. I agree with above, hire a car, driving around the island is hassle free and there are some lovely places to explore.
I'm off to crete solo this year, I'm hoping it's as easy on my own! |

I missed this originally… I was travelling! If you are talking about travel now in Europe you’re limited to the canaries if it’s warm sun you’re looking for but even then it’s not guaranteed. I usual do long haul for winter sun… Thailand… bliss. Europe it’s late April /May for warm weather …. Then the south Malta I like esp Valletta . Morocco is brilliant … Rhiad with a roof top pool. Cool times there are some amazing cities… as others have said Barcelona … but also Madrid, Siena in Tuscany . All safe and great for single travellers … hope you found your spot! |

For somewhere in Europe I would recommend Split. You could wander the city and stay in a nice hotel with a pool or in the Old Town, or jump on a boat over to Hvar or Brac which are both beautiful. |
