Hi all,
After some advice- I’m going abroad with hand luggage only.
I’m looking to pack some toys, but don’t want to draw huge attention to myself or get pulled to the side for stuff in my bag…
After some fail safe tips? Ie I’m wondering if metal toys/butt plugs etc etc are more likely to flag than silicone etc? How do you tend to pack them? What do you take?
All tips greatly appreciated x |

Just take what you like. Airport security see it every day.
At Christmas my hand luggage was pulled. I’d forgot to take my straighteners out but warned the lady as she opened my small case there may be some personal toys in there. She knew what she was looking for from the X-ray scanner so saved me the embarrassment of routing through everything. She said don’t worry we see it all..
I just imagined her pulling something out and waving it around.  |

As an aside.. we took everything in the main luggage without any problems. Then managed to leave a rabbit on the side drawer and a strap on DP black dildo on the shower shelf. Haven't bumped into the maid yet.... |

Remove the batteries, as a vibrating bag needs to be investigated. I used to love the look of horror as someone got brought to the jetty, they were told there is something vibrating in it that needs to be sorted out. |

We had an 'incident' last year Gran Canaria airport on putting the suitcase on the scales i dropped it down and it set Carols Vibe off buzzing away but the check in girl asked was it a battery tooth brush we had i said yeh so she left it but Carol had thought that we would have to open the case in front of everyone in the queue thus showing her sexy stuff and toys, moral is take batteries out |

Taking the batteries out or having zero charge is good advice as others have suggested; I’ve had a pull for a buzzing vibration in the hand luggage and it wasn’t the toothbrush 
My partner in crime was recently stopped in Bangkok security, security chap unzipped the bag with toys in, took a look and politely zipped it back up; we also had the same in Amsterdam.
You’ve genuinely have nothing to worry about OP.

We had a young couple asked to go to a quiet area to sort out the vibrating bag, in front of a pack depture gate the agent said no, as they were boarding now. The poor couple had to remove the batteries from their selection of toys in front of everyone.
It gave the ramp agents something to talk about for a while. |

If you are putting toys in a case in the hold, make sure the case is not busting at the seems.
It can be embarrassing to have your sex toys, photos, whips, etc. put on the baggage reclaim belt one by one first, as your bag burst open and the ramp agent has a nasty sense of humour.
Also don't put anything with a rechargable battery in the hold, it is illegal. |
