Male/female ratios on sites.
Male/female group/individual approaches to sex and general social gender upbringing means that women are mostly going to be more cautious/choosey.

I actively avoid meets like that so I would never be one of the 200 responding.
Over the years I've chatted to a few women who insisted they didn't do socials and would only meet in their own home.
I've ended all those conversations because I've no interest in meeting any woman who has so little thought for her own personal safety and that of her kids that she would invite me as a complete stranger into her home.

Imagine you get hit on 24/7 by women who don't particularly care who they sleep with. And 9/10 they can over power you, there's a risk you can get pregnant, possibly sexually abused or assaulted. They are more desperate and needy maybe because of their lack of options.
