Good evening noswaith da chums.
I've been down a Spotify rabbit hole.
I've been lucky to see most of my favourite bands in my time on the pale blue dot .
Though I never got to see The Clash ,
So who would you have loved to have seen

Similar era, and all about the tones and harmonies, it’s definitely a beautiful record.
If you like that you should try Matthew Halsall’s newest record |

He's touring UK this year and Wembley in July...
But the cost! The cost!! "
Oh agreed, unless you are in the gods unable to see anything... |

The Prodigy. They went mainstream when I was 15 so they were a massive influence. But from watching their live sets on tv, wow - the noise, the energy, the stadium show. I’m genuinely dismayed that I never went to see them live.

Saw The Prodigy at V Festival in 2010 and they were by far the best act of the weekend for me |

The Specials , had tickets in 2021 but was about to move house and Covid was still active so couldn’t risk it as penalties for not being able to move if you caught covid were in contracts.
Obviously now with Terry Hall gone it wouldn’t be the same.

"Wish I could have been at Tushino airfield for Metallica, in 1991.
They played for 1.6 million people and is joint 5th highest attendance gig in history."
Wouldn't you have preferred to have seen them in some intimate venue with Cliff Burton? |

Mine would be as perhaps others have said. Rolling Stones with line up as Mick Jagger , Charlie Watts, Keith Richard's and Ronnie Woods . I have live dvd concerts but not the same as being there .
One other is ELO . Had tickets but missed out as illness. Hope Jeff Lynn still does a UK tour 2024 ? |

"Without a shadow of doubt
David Bowie and George Michael "
I paid an arm and the leg for George tickets as a present, was dragged along in the end and as a complete none fan he blew me away.
Without doubt, George Michael is up there for live performances; you could hear a pin drop on the back row when he sung Jesus to a Child sat on stool with no backing music; spine tingling ! |

Lots of good stuff has come out on this labep in recent times .
I wish I’d seen Curtis Mayfield.
There’s loads of others. I remember walking past a poster for a little-known comedian and thinking “oh, people say he’s good. Maybe one day”. A year later he was big, and, soon after, he was gone. Bill Hicks. |

Far too many to list...I think I was born in the wrong era, so much of the music I love is from before I was born.
If I had to narrow it down I'd say The Sex Pistols and The Specials. I've seen them both in more recent years, but would love to have seen them in their heyday. |
