How would I know? I’m sure there’s some guys like that around. Have I come across them?
I’m probably doing well avoiding them people…
If they are chatting shit, let them get on with it, the truth always comes out. ALWAYS.

I never quite understand it. It comes from all genders at times.
It might be an attempt to make the person talking shit look better by comparison.
But comparison is a thief of joy.
The things that are good enough and bring me joy do so regardless of whether there are better or worse options out there. Same for the things that aren't or don't.
People who act like the only way they can keep you around is by making it look like you couldn't do any better, they're a fucking drain |

"That chat shit about other man or that lie about other man just to get in there with someone they’re interest. Have you had experience with them?
I am sure they put down forum legends"
I bet there’s these people on the forums. I would bet millions on it if I had it |

I’m talking about men specifically and I think that’s ok. I know women do it too.
But agree with your last paragraph so fucking much. |

"If we exclude post-conquest lamppost pissing, then no, not at all.
I've seen it with women however."
There’s not enough non monogamous people on here |

It's not something I've experienced before at all but loved Prey's comment about comparison being the thief of joy. I need to be more secure in what I bring to the table and if I am, what other men are doing wouldn't worry me as much. |

So the forumite I've decided to couple up with is....
We could be the first gay couple "
Have they not done that yet? Very disappointing. |

It's the age old story of sales techniques.
Some people don't have confidence in what they are selling so they resort to telling everyone how shit their competitors are in the belief that people will fall for it.
Unfortunately many do and then complain afterwards that they were fooled. |

You watch that pile of crap? That explains a lot.
Yeah I’m young Woody. I’m gen Z
Don't be making us millennials feel any worse "
Last night, I watched that programme about the trial of a guy in Scotland, for murdering his ex wife in 1976. That's so millennial of me, I'm sure |

Wherever I lay my hat |
It's a useful filter. Someone messaged me the other day running down someone I had met. I asked if his mother had never taught him "if you can't say anything nice then don't say anything at all" and blocked him |

I’ve come across guys who talk shit about other women to flatter me, you the ones who send a first message saying something like “my gf is a stupid, ugly dog and she wishes she looked like you”. I block them straight away |

"Yeah I’ve got mates in my group that do this to each other. It’s such a side of people I wish we could eradicate "
Honestly. It’s like a guy feels like they’re in there and they lose all their morals?? |

Want me to have a word. |

What"
Yeah. I’m pretty sure the gfs are actually imaginary most of the time, but it’s guaranteed to make me hate the guy and not make me feel flattered he chose me |

That sounds like it would make me feel like the guy would just turn around and say that about me to someone else
No game |

I think there’s an element of ‘the game is the game’ but at some stage you have to look yourself in the mirror.
I’m alarmed at the amount of time I spend each week calling mates out on random nonsense |

Yep, been on the end of this quite a few times and had, subsequently, put me off the dating game.
But whatever shit they say about me, I just readjust and carry on. My actions will soon prove them wrong. |
