Second time in 12 months, gone from paracetamol now on co-codamol . Not much change to the pain level. Going back to the Gp next week

Are painkillers the only treatment? If it's similar to cystitis it's miserable, depressing and debilitating.

Like cystitis some are treated with antibiotics. Especially if bacteria is causing the infection. Can also be from injury.

I have had 3 courses of antibiotics bloods taken and urine tested all clear . This is the 3rd time been diagnosed as chronic now . Plus I have an enlarged prostate and over active bladder. Not nice

I've just been tested for this on Monday awaiting results. Noticed that I was going to the toilet for a piss a lot more often than normal at work especially. Finally got round to making an appointment, had the dreaded "exam" (not something I want to do again might I add) and they took blood & urine samples. I was put on a medication that is a 4-week course so fingers crossed it clears up sooner rather than later.

Got a blood test in the morning for this was in hospital on iv anti biotics pre xmas fucking awfull pissing a thimble full of red hot lava every 15 mins want fun .mostly better now just still not feeling quite right if that makes sense

Thank you. I read it could of appeared through injury which lines up with me as I like to throw myself around a football pitch twice a week lol

Update. Had an appointment with the doctor the other day, got the finger up the bum he had a good prod on my stomach and lower area felt my balls . Got to have a few tests done. Had bloods done yesterday.poo sample sent off waiting for a ultrasound on my bladder and kidneys off work for a few weeks
