Are any of you taking testosterone as part of your hormone replacement therapy? Have read that prescribing only estrogen & progesterone is a bit like having a 3 legged stool with one leg missing!

Curious to hear others experiences if they have successfully managed to get this on the NHS.

You can get all 3 prescribed on the NHS OP but you need a great doctor and if not you need to ask to be referred to a specialist gynaecologist.

Sadly it didn’t work for me so I binned it off and took herbal stuff which is working a treat.

Hope you find some relief

What herbal stuff are you taking please? Just started HRT a few months ago. It's working great but always room for improvement xx

I took a chance on Hormone Harmony from Happy Mammoth. I was really desperate for some relief after 9 long years of crap. It’s been utterly brilliant tbh. Would recommend trying to everyone having a hard time with menopause

On oestrogen & progesterone already and see an improvement but wondering if testosterone is the missing piece. The guidance I've read seems to suggest that docs should only consider it if extremely low libido is the issue and pretty much overlook all the other issues it can help with.
