Its expensive now that's fine tbh,
But is it worth it for nice gents
Any pre visit advise?

I've not heard of them and it's worth checking in the clubs section for details and feedback about licensed clubs. If it's not there, I would be more cautious, as you won't potentially have the same protections that you'd expect from a licensed venue. |

House of Poitier is an established swinging and sex venue in Sutton.
It gets rented out to many different groups and parties. Several different events are regularly held there.
Just check the event you’re going to gas a good track record.
We used to live close by, have been to some great nights but also some awful ones. |

I've only been on lovejoys day.. which is the trannie day.. it's a nice venue..the upstairs is all playrooms..about 4.. there's a shower.. I've never seen a hot tub on my visits though so if there is one it must be well hidden..I shouldn't think there's any other charges once you have paid to get in there's not on lovejoys days..but best check.. |

Hiya we’ve been a a few events
Just to mirror above no hot tub but a shower in the bathroom two bathrooms in total I believe and outside area for smokers
Kitchen/bar area
Coats etc area
Dungeon room with equipment (our favourite room)
Lounge with two way mirror to another room
Three playrooms upstairs
I’m general it’s not bad. But like so many place could probably do while some fresh paint etc but it’s a nice big house and really depends on who’s hosting on the night |

Been a few times to both day and evening events. Horses for courses. The venue is tired and looks a bit like a budget retirement home but like most events it's all about the hosts and the crowd attending. If that's good then I'm willing to overlook the Playrooms consisting of old mismatched divans |

Only ever went there once and after parking nearby and walking towards the venue, I met a friend who had just left. He said "Don't waste your money today", so I didn't and have never bothered again.
Mainly because the drive halfway across south London took so long. Since then, I decided that I wouldn't do anything that involves going over to the far side of the A23. I like my home quadrant! |

Yes there was a piece in the local paper about it fairly recently and I had several conversations with neighbours about never being able to imagine such a thing  |

£100 sounds possibly a bit steep, for a smaller venue, where I assume it's not including annual membership, for entry most days etc.
For a 1st time club goer, I'd recommend reviewing all options, comparing prices, what you get, etc. |

I went once just after covid. So a couple of years ago. Paid £80 on the door, it was bright inside, at the time they had an open door policy because a guy got offended at being shut out of a play room so he kicked the door in. After that the owners said no closed doors allowed else he’d close the venue. I felt super exposed and really uncomfortable. To the point I didn’t even get undressed. Sat in the kitchen for the entire time I was there talking to the lady serving drinks. Have to say the people there were nice enough but I was too nervous to approach anyone. I’ve Since been to Abfabs and felt much more comfortable there as it was lower lighting and a much more chilled vibe. HOP might be different now but just giving you my experience of it. |
