I’ve fallen out of mobile contract (hadn’t realised and it’s been a year out ) and am paying waaaaaay too much each month for my smartphone. Am on an economising push and am going to try and sort - should I just phone up EE and threaten to leave or politely ask if they can offer me a better deal? I have no idea how one does this!!
What’s your tips? Thanks in advance. |

check round 1st, see what deals other companies do 1st. then go back to your provider tellingh them the cheapest quote and seeing if they can match it!
then decide from there |

I've literally done this exact thing today ...
Went to the EE shop and said I wanted a cheaper bill or I'll look elsewhere...
Got 85 gig per month more than I do now , no upfront fees , new phone and reduced my bill by 20 quid a month ..
Just threaten to leave ![](/icons/s/biggrin.gif) |

Find the best deal for you, before you talk to them. You can get better deals away from them and without locking yourself into a long contract.
I've just left them and now in a 1 month rolling service, taking my number with me
