Following on from the other thread i would love to see which places people visit to see art.... Any insider tips in London or other places in the UK?
I'll start... For the bigger names I enjoy Tate modern most.
But the biggest enjoyment I get out of street art at the moment. So much around, and constant changes!

Tate Britain is good too.
The National Gallery (Trafalgar Square) has some amazing pictures grouped by style/era
I've also visited Tate St Ives which wasn't my thing but I did enjoy the "Barbara Hepworth Museum and Sculpture Garden" (also in St Ives where she move with her husband Ben Nicholson) |

"Brick Lane, Shoreditch and Penge are great for wandering around and checking out the street art.
Leake street tunnels are ok but, years ago it was much better. "
Great tips!
I lived in Shoreditch way back. Miss it a lot. Never been to Penge but had a look on Google. Looks great.
If I have time I just stroll around in new neighbourhoods. It's all around! |

I often try to find lesser known art galleries in London. Some of my favourites include:
Cecilia Brunson Projects. The gallery exclusively specialises in historical and contemporary Latin American art.
Bermondsey Project Space. Their galleries showcase an eclectic fusion of art, photography, and culture, and often have a great mix of emerging and establishes artists’ work.
Rhodes Contemporary Art Gallery- boutique/quirky gallery with extremely knowledgable staff.
Pace Gallery- Influential contemporary art
October Gallery- Notable international artists along with literary publications
