I think there’s a fine line between confidence and arrogance.
Too much confidence can come across as arrogance but depends on the context.
For example, someone who is really good in maths can be overly confident in their ability to solve a maths problems when others may not be as eager. If their confidence is shown in a manner that puts others down it can be seen as arrogance. Conversely, if they show confidence in being able to solve the problem in a “quiet” manner they won’t necessarily seem overly confident. |

If someone is overly confident and thinks they excel at everything and are the best at all things yes that too much, and not in a good way. |

Blah blah blah blah blah PARKLIFE
You’d think I’d get bored of typing this over the last 8 years or so.
Although I have swapped the actual lyrics for blah.
Maybe I’m more mature!
Anyways…
I’m confident that blur references are always a winner. |

You're either confident or you're not. In my opinion it isn't possible to be too confident and arrogance is not the same thing at all.
Confidence means that you know you're capable and you're realistic about your abilities.
Arrogance which is often in my opinion wrongly described as over confidence is overestimating your abilities and being unrealistic about them |

"Confidence and arrogance are entirely different "
It all maybe goes back to ‘don’t be a dick’, theres times I can carry myself and know that I can, but I don’t need to make a show about it.
Maybe I just think if I’m too cocky I’m headed for a fall. |

No don't think that is the definition of arrogance - "the quality of being unpleasantly proud and behaving as if you are more important than, or know more than, other people" You can be perfect correct about your abilities but still be arrogant.
Confidence is a lady at a swinging party thinking she can deep throat and make all the men cum. Arrogance is telling all the people there about it and suggesting you are better at it than all the other swinging ladies there. (A vaguely real example of ladies pissing off other ladies at swinging parties ) |

I can be overconfident sometimes but without being cocky
The eternal optimist
"What could possibly go wrong?"
And yet it usually ends with a large bill for car parts, bloodshed (mine of course) and/or my hair on fire. Again.
Only just managed to grow one of my eyebrows back
But still I never learn, I fear the gods have condemned me to suffer the consequences of my childish stupidity on an almost daily basis
When I was (a lot) younger I used to bounce... |
