The one quote I've found super useful to apply in my life when needed, is that 'energy can neither be created nor destroyed, only transformed.'
So what's the one quote you have found most useful knowing so far in you're own life? |

I don't think he disagrees, he stated that quote himself. But I'm open to the rightful correction if I am wrong here. |

You shouldn’t give circumstances the power to rouse anger, for they don’t care at all.
Choose not to be harmed, and you won’t feel harmed. Don’t feel harmed, and you haven’t been
Both by Marcus Aurelius
I've read up on stoicism quite a lot and try to apply it to everyday life Aurelius is my favourite of the stoic philosophers |

Out you popped and everyone’s shouting: “It’s a boy, it’s a boy!” And somebody said: “But it hasn’t got a winkle!” And I said: “God be praised, it’s a miracle. A boy without a winkle!” And then Sir Thomas More pointed out that a boy without a winkle is a girl |

Don't ever sacrifice your authenticity for other people's approval.
When they tell you that your pieces don't fit with theirs, don't go breaking off parts of yourself to prove them wrong
Unconditional love does not mean unconditional tolerance.

"It is what it is "
This is my most used quote.
It's also great when trying to leave a conversation that's involved somebody moaning the whole time.
Another favorite is "aahh what can you do" (shrugs shoulders) |

It’s the small things that build monuments of importance.
Respect people who find time for you in their busy schedule, but love people who never look at their schedule when you need them. |

This should of course be attributed to Nursie |

"The best one to live your life by I find is don’t be a cunt "
But that word is used and seen in this day and age as an endearing thing either to be told by another or be. But yes, I agree with you. |

One foot in front of the other, and don't forget to breathe.
And still, I rise.
It's none of your business what other people think of you.
People will forget what you said, and forget what you did, but they'll never forget how you made them feel. |

"Choose not to be harmed, and you won’t feel harmed. Don’t feel harmed, and you haven’t been. "
Does this work if the other person is beating you around the head with something heavy?

Every minute someone leaves this world behind.
We're all in "the queue" without knowing it.
We will never know how many people are ahead of us.
We can't move to the bottom of the row.
We can't get out of line.
We can't avoid the queue.
So while we wait in line.
Make the moments count!
Make priorities.
Make the time.
Let your qualities be known.
Make people feel important.
Make your voice heard.
Make big things out of small things.
Make someone smile.
Make the change.
Make love.
Make Peace.
Get it together.
Make sure you tell your people you love them.
Make sure you have no regrets.
Make sure you're ready.
Very true.
Live life and let live, enjoy, be grateful don't waste time arguing, fighting in doing bad things life is short, live it, be humble, love yourself and be happy with what you have.
Have a happy life.
With love

"A bird sitting on a tree is never afraid of the branch breaking, because her trust is never on the branch, but on their own wings."
I fell out of a tree and broke my wrist when the branch snapped |

"Trust no-one x
I saw a quote a while ago that said something along the lines of 'you can love anyone, but trust has to be built.' So true."

Never broken my arm before. Broke a few toes during a rehearsal when I used to dance. Snapped them back into place, taped them up, took some paracetamol and proceeded to give 2 performances that night and each night for a week. Also tore my hamstring on exercise back in the day. Made a point of dragging my leg on the 4 mile tab back because some twat sgt dared to blame my pain on my gender. The point is on both occasions the task was completed, purely out of stubbornness and refusal to let a broken branch hold me back 🙃 |
