Depends what you fancy doing?
If its somewhere to drink, try the underground pub, Bacchus, in the arcade by the Apple shop (just ask anyone where the ramp by Mcdonalds is, then its the other side of the tram rails).
If you go up the hill opposite the Mcdonalds ramp, turn left at House of Frasier, you'll come to pigeon park (the cathedral), go round to the left and you'll find The Old Joint Stock, good booze, busy and fantastic architecture.
Got a few quid spare, try the newly opened F1 racing experience up by the council buildings. walk 5 minutes past that and its Broad Street, if you're after cheaper booze and a punch up .
That area also has Brindley place, so restaurants, The Arena & Symphony Hall, Sealife centre, a couple of art galleries if you want some culture. |

"Chameleons is supposed to be good
Not Birmingham itself but a taxi ride
I've heard about Chameleons.. how far is it from the city centre? "
It's a trek and requires membership, which is typically tough for single men
It's not too far from it to the adult cinemas of Walsall, Darlaston etc though |

"Shithole.
Innocent teenager got stabbed to death in broad daylight Saturday in town centre.
Terrible..surely this is not a regular accurate."
Sadly it is. Although usually it’s a shooting rather than stabbing. |

For good views, try the bar in marco pierre whites in the cube.
For good beer look up cherry reds/ brewdog/ the post office vaults or the Wellington.
For really good beer, look up cotteridge wines (sounds weird but trust me) it's out of the centre but incredibly worth the trip |
