I have a tea maker and also a teapot

Teapot is usually for when I’m relaxing at home. There’s something distinctly satisfying about using one.

I actually bought one recently. German glass one which sits on a stainless steel base that holds a tea candle. £20 on Amazon, £99 on their website.

I use a tea pot but not for every cup.

My everyday tea bag is Yorkshire tea.

I prefer loose tea.

"does anybody use a tea pot these days or is it just a tea bag in the cup job ?"

It all depends on how much time I have, I use both. When I have time to sit and enjoy some quiet time then it’s loose leaf tea, a teapot and a nice China cup n saucer, otherwise it’s a case of chucking a tea bag in a mug and guzzling it down

Just around the corner

I’m mostly a bag-in-mug heathen, but when I’ve got the time I like to get the pot out and make it properly.

Luckily here in York I can go to Betty’s and let a professional make it for me.
