Been blowing away all day and heavy constant rain, just waiting on the real windy stuff and wondering if worth getting dog out again. Bins are pinned against each other and hoping that’s enough.

I’d politely wholly disagree with that point above, there are a few storms that are beyond regular weather.

Even on the us scale this one would be considered a “tropical storm “ so it would be named… and it’s throwing out hurricane cat1/2 gusts…

I just hope everyone stays in and the emergency services don’t have a bad night….

We're mid extension so currently only have half a tiled roof And even then, no rodge toles etc! I've parked the car up the road just incase any of them decide they would rather vacate!

But still, I no doubt won't be sleeping tonight due to the noise, and worrying about the roof

We've had to drive out in it while ago, it was quite scary, the wind, rain and avoiding the tree branch debris on the road.

We're now laid in bed and I feel really worried, the wind gusts must be getting up to near 100mph...that's what we get for living high on an exposed hill top though.

I hope everyone stays safe and don't suffer much damage.

I was enjoying the bright, cold weather.

Now it's gone from -6 degrees to 14. Pissing it down with sideways rain, the gusts are pretty strong but nothing unusual for Devon round this time of year, we often have pretty gnarly gales anyway.
