I will accept proof that you've heard of the above if you can correctly answer whether the "Night of the Proms" has ever been performed regularly in the UK.....
I remember watching the last night of the proms years ago, where the conductor had to announce that a blank firing pistol would be used.
Sadly not watched it for a few years.
