Just lying in bed.. Ill with cold.. and after a glen fydic whiskey... I pondered the word teen.. and after checking ..it's etymology I though why still have them?
Soo. I was thinking how it could have been..:
Eight
Nine
Then;
Onety one
Onety two
Onety three
Through to onety nine?
Then!.. I had an epiphany! That made me sit up and say woooahhh hello..
When we say things like "o'clock".. how did that come about.. googled it and thought okay.. now I'm off to bed. Goodnight all!
