Have you had this fabbers?
Someone is hot, and they're into you. Great, good times ahead.
Only they're reallllly boring? Everything is super deep. Everything has to mean alot more than it does. Every little comment is deconstructed and there's no room for a light joke, or even then - if they get it, the reply is thus...

Hm... I may be one of those kinds lol. I do enjoy having a laugh and not taking things seriously, but I do looove those deep meaningful conversations too. |

Yes....I had a fwbs/bf who was so Borrrrrrring omg....He had a zero sense of humour & I mean ZERO.... Absolute Zero!!!!
It was so bad that the electric hot hot hot sparks that were initially there dimmed & vanished quickly....He was an absolute beaut but the guy never laughed or smiled....He was so serious all the time....
I had to finish with him cos of his absolute zero sense of humour....
I now do wonder did the guy have a personality disorder.... Cos there's no way a person could have an absolute zero sense of humour (& I'm not exaggerating)..... |

Absolutely!
Quite some time ago, thankfully. I really can't describe it without disintegrating into a quivering mess of disappointment. Her profile was full of mystique. On the outside she was like a glossy brochure, full of intrigue and heightened expectation. Inside she was all hyperbole and banality. The conversation flowed unremarkably but I held onto the titbits and morsels of frisson and half-decent chat that she offered like some indirect 'bread-crumbing' technique. We had shared interests but she wanted an explanation for every benign remark which had me reaching for the dictionary of eternal apologies and misunderstandings.
I genuinely thought this person would buck the trend and keep me enthused but her personal issues and drama made me want to reach for the cut-throat razor and slit my wrists, figuratively speaking. |

I’m in this predicament now, got major ick and really tried but I just can’t anymore, I’m such a fun lighthearted person it’s draining.
I need to grow some balls and tell him it just ain’t gonna happen! |
