"Burlesque and cabaret
What got you interested in starting?"
I saw it advertised and thought I'd give it a go and swap one of my weekly gym classes to add a bit of variety. I quickly fell in love...that was 8 years ago, and it's provided me with some wonderful friends and memories that I will cherish forever |

"Argentine tango a few years ago. Was great fun doing entry to mid level learning
Salon style or fantasia, I'm guessing salon.....
Good guess "
My original instructor neglected to mention salon style was the hardest to learn until I'd been there 6 months.
I'm reading Tango by Christine Deniston at the moment. It's a great read for anyone interested in the history of Tango. |

Danced since I was little - trained professionally in ballet/jazz/tap and contemporary attended Scottish ballet and dance college thereafter.
I’ve been fortunate enough to work in musical theatre and travel whilst teaching dance
It’s my passion and I can’t imagine never being able to do it.
Currently teach a few times a week.
There is nothing more freeing xx |

"I used to go jive dancing with old people thinking it would be a nice thing to do. They all danced rings round me. "
"jive dancing with old people" is a euphemism for shagging me, right........ |

I wish I felt more comfortable in my dancing skin to enjoy the more open hold dances.
I look at something like West Coast swing and just go wow......
For now, salon Tango suits me. |

Always wanted to try swing dancing it looks amazing! Tango ain’t for the faint hearted either. That’s the thing with dancing it pushes you out of your comfort zone, good on you for exploring it! I hope you continue to enjoy xx |

I'm currently hooked on PJ turner and Tashima Beckman.

I like the subtlety of Salon style, very challenging, but feels damn good when it comes together.
