So I was binge watching Netflix last night on the new TV (not having had one in about 6 months!) and dozed off on the sofa. Woke at about 3.30am and couldn't be arsed to move to bed so just grabbed a fleecy blanket and went back to sleep.

Just had my first brew of the day and fuck me it was lovely.

No doubt I'll have many more today, but why does that first caffeine hit taste so damn good every morning?

And why does the second, or eleventy billionth of the day just not taste anywhere near as good?

Can that first hit ever be replicated in some way?
