Yes but the inconsistency is crazy.
Two more sets of charges today. Do Everton get a worse punishment for multiple breached or does some sort of double jeopardy?
How does this impact Norwich, Leicester, West Brom, Southampton, Leeds, Norwich and all the other sides affected in directly by their actions over the previous few years?
I know it’s slightly different but why can’t the City case(s) be resolved so quickly |

I think it's very unfair (and yes I'm a Newcastle fan) I think when a team is sol the new owners should have leniancy for a period of time like Mayes 2-3 years so 4-6 transfer windows do they can invest freely in their club.
I think it's not fair how some clubs or Everton are getting points reduced but the likes of Chelsea and Manu don't seem to have anything done to them.... I think the premier ship is more for the big 6 and keeping them happy to being fair to everyone but that's my opinion as it's a bit of a sicker having owners who are minted but not being able to buy as of rules in place, but let's just admit they are just delaying the inevitable |

FFP is the best we have to control spending and help smaller clubs compete as best as we can. It does need fine tuning bc all clubs need to do really is lawyer up and can at least reduce penalties and, in certain cases escape punishment.
FFP is not the issue but more enforcement of penalties. The criminals need to go to the hole rather than just having their food cut.
The real problem is vetting and regulation as to who runs, invests and buys clubs. Countries should never be involved in ownership. Bad owners should never be allowed to slime their way into football. |

Newcastle and Gateshead |
Everton and forest are 2 separate cases….
Where I had some sympathy for Everton last time but I don’t this time time… if by your own admission you were 10 million over last time (although the premier league said you were 20 million over!) and you know that it’s a rolling 3 year account window.. you only had one job to do this year, spend 10-20 million less than whatever you did 3 years ago!!
Not bloody rocket science!!!!
Forest I do have some sympathy with for a couple of reasons…
A) because they only came up last year, their figure is based on 1 year in the premier league and 2 years in the championship! (If they used the same £105 million over 3 years figure Everton had to hit they would have been within it comfortably)
B) if they had sold Brendon Johnson a few weeks earlier, that would have counted against the cap! The reasonable argument they will make is that at the time they only had a £35 million pound bid from Brentford, remember they sold him on transfer deadline day to spurs for £48 million!

I read it was a system to hinder developing clubs. The top six don't want a rival club being taken over my wealthy new owners and buying their way into the top spots. FFP is a device that keeps the current top teams at the top. Football isn't a sport anymore anyway. It's a pantomime. |

A great way to keep the Sky 6 ahead of the rest….. Just look at the money that Newcastle have at their disposal yet they can’t spend it…
Same for the other ‘top’ clubs in the European leagues.
Football is corrupt from the FA’s down to the clubs at the top table and f*ck the rest. |
