Yes! Not the too much energy but the other bit.

But for me my impulsiveness, I tend to do something before I think a fair bit, I over think waaaaayyyyyyyyy to much, a contradiction it seems, but both have their place and finally I hate confrontation but I am starting to stand up for myself more and if I feel I've been had i'll say, but in the same token, I will take responsibility too.

Inconsistent, arrogance, fickle, stubborn, sensitive, unorganised, a people pleaser for a brief spell who reaches a point then balances it with a brief spell of selfishness. Ambitious but I don’t always have the motivation to back that up.

Luckily the traits I like least in me are not the dominant ones that make up my personality.

Self reflection is good, I’d never try to hide my flaws completely. I do try to change my thinking and actions when I know I’m being difficult.

Reverse impatience, if there was such as thing.

It's the complete opposite of impatience.

Hard to give an example, but I'll try.

20 trolleys ahead of me in the supermarket queue. I'll join the end, and happily wait. My time will come when it comes. True, I could dash around looking for another checkout or shorter cue, but I can't be bothered with the stress and hassle doing so. This one here is just peachy. Besides, I can saunter off in to my own world, look around and chill.

**

What is this life if, full of care,

We have no time to stand and stare?-

No time to stand beneath the boughs

And stare as long as sheep or cows:

No time to see, when woods we pass,

Where squirrels hide their nuts in grass:

No time to see, in broad daylight,

Streams full of stars, like skies at night:

No time to turn at Beauty's glance,

And watch her feet, how they can dance:

No time to wait till her mouth can

Enrich that smile her eyes began?

A poor life this if, full of care,

We have no time to stand and stare.

Caring too much, loving too hard, being too funny, being too beautiful. Sighs.

"What's yours Mr P?

I think I’m pretty annoying. Very fidgety, not very focused and very chatty.

(I went to the doctor about it today)

Oh… could you be a fellow ADHDer??

(What can I say… it takes one to know one!!).

We will see if I get an assessment

Oh... are you after one? Having mentored and supported a lot of people seeking diagnosis for this over the past 3-4 years, I'd say that in my experience, if you recognise yourself enough in the most typical traits to seek an assessment, you probably are. Happy to chat if you ever have any questions about the process. Good luck. "

Thank you

I handed in my form to the doctor today so will be just waiting to hear back. I’ve filled out the same questionnaire online so I imagine I know what the outcome will be

I knew too, yet when the formal confirmation came it was still a lot to take on: I was 45 when diagnosed and I had to stop and recast my sense of my own identity… it was a lot and if you can afford it, therapy with an adhd specialist therapist was simply life changing. Happy to advise on where to find them if you are interested (and you don’t need a diagnosis for that).

Welcome (informally) to the quirky gang!!

Can prioritising gym over pussy be a worse quality? it’s such a big part of my normal routine that if it clashes with getting laid I will choose the iron lol

Consistently inconsistent/contrary.

I can be cynical too.

My worst for myself is probably that I can sometimes isolate myself when things get tough.

(Mr)

After I've cum I'm good to go again after a few minutes, then can take over an hour of fucking to pop again. Have been kicked out of clubs that were closing as couldn't finish, and one time dehydrated a woman who just squirted so much she had to grab water and up her blood sugars before she collapsed.

It's a curse.
