Nope.
Geography plays fuck all of a part in whether I'm interested in, or attracted to someone.
Just because they're close means nothing and someone assuming that distance will have any affect on a decision to interact or meet is hilarious.

My written location is broadly correct - I live in Manchester City Council. No, I'm not getting more specific than that unless there's good reason to, and never in public.
My postcode is off but not wildly so.
My mobile location is turned off basically permanently after too many people tried to work out where I was and got fucking creepy about it. |

my location is turned on .y phone but the app still says it cnt give a real location. Manchester is a big place but not that big that people cnt travel. Keep away from the creepies. Haha |

Almost always men around me. Although when I am staying in a hotel I find it fun to go live and see if there are any fabbers live in the hotel. |

I'm pretty confident, but for awhile I'd get messages saying things like "you're always in the same place, why don't you come for a drink at (closest pub to me/ closest chain coffee place to me). I'll be watching out to see if I spot you".
I've never had face pictures up but still creepy as absolute fuck.
I also had someone - a long time ago - try to triangulate my location while trying to pressure me to accommodate him for "just a cup of tea". That's not too much to ask, right? Just some tea?

A square mile is a big area in a populated area. Not in the sticks where population density is significantly lower. Its easy to blend in when you're one of a thousand. Not when you're one of a dozen.
One of the reason many switch it off, use a nearby postcode, or have a vague location is because this is a free site, open to all and accessible by anyone with the Internet.
And that includes people who don't have your best interests at heart.
'Who's near me' is an interesting feature but some put too much hope into it actually being a source of contacts and meets. Just because someone is close doesn't mean they want to get jiggy and many don't like to play too close to home for privacy/discretion reasons. The ability to 'fudge' your location is a serious benefit. |

I have a bit of a problem with live location. Literally every time I look at this site on my phone or flip from say, local updates then back to my account whatever move I make it comes up show location and remember this decision, I always allow, but then when I browse it asks again , and when I go back it asks again. I have location turned on in my phone so ?????? Any help guys and gals??? |

I don't know, but I'd start with your phone's GPS settings. |
