Lots of things make me think , and with that What’s the deepest thing you thought about?’ thread, even more so.
There’s the news about Sven and he only has a short time to live made me feel sad, I know his age isn’t young, but he still has to deal with something that’s been made clear is final.
We are not living forever, and we will end this life one day. But if you knew (and we already do) that it’s coming to an end soon, are you happy how things have played out or where you are? Or is there something you really have to do now?
I realise I’m happy with what I have, it’s nothing, but it’s everything I’ve got. I’m sure I’ll be going out without doing something, but there’s no way of doing everything anyway, you know? That’s how I look at things like that now.
What about you?

Same sort of outlook as yourself mate. I'm not living my best life, nor have I done or achieved everything that I've wanted, but I am happy. As long as those around me are healthy and happy also that's about all I ever hope for.
Too many plans made can leave me disappointed if I don't get to fulfil them. So I generally move through life 1 day at a time and I find a certain peace in that.
Death comes to us all, and if my time is up soon I'll pass on peacefully enough and with a clear conscience |

Live an authentic life , create a legacy, claim your expertise at something , laugh a lot, love a lot, love being alone, give back generously, take lots of risks, be spontaneous, be minimalist , value experiences over stuff, be a mentor, regularly visualise your own funeral.
All achievable for anyone and lead you to a life full of purpose and no regrets

I know on my deathbed I’m going to regret working so much
It’s the number 1 regret people have
But what am I meant to do? I got to work to survive, and my career isn’t the “drop down to 4 days” or “start finishing earlier” type
I earn really well, probably in the top 1%, but that feels useless if I’m working so much. |

Forever is our today. Who waits forever anyway.
I live every single day like it’s my last darling. Life is short. Might as well grab it by the balls |

Well oddly enough, today I’m attending a funeral. He was in his 80’s and lived a full life. So I’ll reflect today when at the service.
Don’t want to go yet myself, others depend on me and still need my guidance a bit longer. But I’m not scared of death and I know Wolf certainly isn’t.

I feel like I have given (and am still giving) life a good shot. I have always tried to whatever it is that I wanted to do and I feel I have generally managed that. Most importantly, the kids have turned out well and I know they will do the right things when needed. Thats good enough for me. |

If I were ever to get a terminal diagnosis, then I'd spend a few more weeks with loved ones, then go and murder one particular person, a person who caused great harm and hurt to the most important people in my life.
So they throw me in jail? I'm dying anyways, but at least I could die happy then. |

Definitely happen and probably wouldn’t change a thing. I can’t think about dying though. It actually does bother me and I get proper panicky if I let myself think about it. So I don’t. |
