I was walking down my local high street yesterday and as it was very busy i had to walk behind a very slow woman walking in front of me. She suddenly stopped for no reason, and i had to step to the side to avoid walking into her, she then cut across me as i was doing this and then tutted as if it was my fault. Is there some sort of walking etiquette when it comes to busy high streets and coming out of shops? |

haha I love it when you do that dance with people as you both go the same way, always makes me smile. But also makes me laugh when highly strung fuckwits huff like you're obstructing their personal pathway.
There's a special name for it I think.. |

"Watch the video from "bitter sweet symphony" by the verve.
Perfect display of how to walk down the high street "
I walk through supermarkets like that from time to time |

Folkestone high street on a Saturday? Your brave! It's usually full of chavvy teenagers and geriatrics. Did you go in rooks for a pasty?? Xx |

I have mobility issues & walk rather slowly & having to stop at regular intervals. My son was helping me walk to a local shop this morning, didn't wanna use my wheelchair.
Anyway, a young & impatient guy, barged right past us & knocked my son into the road.
We had no idea he was behind us, he could see I had a walking stick, why couldn't he use a simple 'excuse me please'???? We would have gladly moved over to the side.
I can barely go out.....get grief off people when I'm trying to walk & even more grief when I'm in my wheelchair & it breaks my sons heart to see the pure ignorance of adults. There is only him to help, I can no longer pay for a carer.
Sorry, gone onto a rant! Oooops |

I have no time for people that wander about in a daydream like they own the road. I have all the time in the world for the elderly or anyone that has an obvious reason for walking slowly. Whack them with your stick next time. Say "oops it slipped".
Don't feel bad, get out in the fresh air and hold your head high! X |

I'd get sued if I whacked them!!! no doubt there'd be a 'have you had an accident in the last 3 years' canvasser with a clip board & mini camera! |
