We’re now pretty much halfway through January. Only 253 days until payday!

How is everyone doing with the most ‘ugh’ month of the year?

Doing OK. Got quite a bit of time off work as using up annual leave from last year. Two funerals to attend which is not so good.

I try to embrace and savour January as much as I can because it's my birthday month, immediately after the New Year. I feel like I have to make an effort because of the ingrained perception of January being a transitional, non-eventful and lackadaisical month.

And I hope you enjoyed your special day. Mine is December and I often think they’re the two worst months for birthdays, when everyone is least interested.

Maybe that’s the key to surviving the ‘meh’ - making plans to do stuff. And things.

There’s a better light this morning so winter is on the ebb. Although funky February can bring all sorts of havoc.

Caught up with friends far and wide

Lots of laughs, great sex, conversations and dancing

I’m now going into hibernation till February

Jan and feb are my least fave months… live in the countryside so everyone hunkers down … my cure is winter sun… rather go on holiday this time of year than summer… off to the airport tonight! Wooo hooo!

January is a cold and grey tedious month without the Christmas excitement that you get in December

Im doing ok but need to sit down later and sort a few things out.

My job pays us early ahead of Xmas so it definitely feels like a long time before that January pay day hits

I’m with you on the Tuesday thing. It’s like we all know Mondays are terrible so we just deal with it. Fridays are obviously great and Thursday we can say tomorrow is Friday. Wednesday is hump day and Tuesday, well it’s a nothing day isn’t it.

So I’ve got a whole month of Tuesdays to come?! Damn.

Pretty bleurgh to be honest.

All motivation to do anything has just gone. I’m clinging to the fact that the nights will start drawing out again soon and it’ll be time to start tidying the garden ready for Summer.

I think January for me just hits a massive low after all the Christmas madness.

Don't get to see my family as too far away now.

Constantly chasing for things to get done/arranged.

Always expected to be "that" person to sort everything out and arrange everything because others are too fucking lazy to help out.

Putting up with strange people that try to use you as a target for their own amusement.

One hilight is always the social night out which helps lift the mood usually.

Not sure it worked this time though like it normally does.

Under appreciated completely is the present mood

Oh Boooooo. This makes me sad. Sending you big bear hugs and a follow up cuddle (with hardly any erections spoiling the gesture).

We all appreciate you enormously.
