Toffee Apples..
The ones you used get at the fair or at the seaside.
Nearly broke a tooth trying to bite into one. And after a couple of bites tasted sickly. |

"Bread and butter pudding. It tastes of nothing and had a skin unless I've just had a spectacularly bad one.
Fantastic when done correctly, a little brandy enhances it I’m told"
Get pissed enough to not notice how bad it is? |

Alicante, Spain. (Sometimes in Wales) |
A lot of the foods mentioned above aren't just British though!
I'm not sure if there's any "British" food that doesn't have a similar cousin elsewhere in the world.

"My gran used to boil tripe in a pan with vinegar. It stank and tasted worse than it smelled. Absolutely rank."
My mum used to make tripe and onions, she and one of my sisters wee they only ones in a family of 8 who liked it. My dad was the main cook but even he refused to cook it - the stench in the house when my brother and I came home from school could have knocked us out |

"It’s not a British dish per se but it is a good stuff that I don’t understand how anyone likes.
Aniseed.
With you there, aniseed is wrong!"
I like aniseed in a bottle, it is usually spelled Ouzo or Pernod though |

Tripe...its disgusting. But it's not just us. Went to Florence and they have it in a sandwich called a Lambredotto, it's so popular and I thought the Italians loved good food, obviously not, Mrs x |

"Black pudding. It's absolutely vile. What manky cunt thought "wonder what this pig blood would taste like if I kept it for a couple days till it congeals and I fry it?""
Probably the same manky cunt that thought if you over feed a goose till it's liver bursts it makes better pate....
And the same cunt is probably the one that keeps young calves in dark barns with blindfolds on to keep the veal 'white/pink' before they rip it's skin off, discard its head, cut off its flesh and sell it for profit. |

There's no such thing as British Food or any other food..... it's ALL the SAME food just prepared differently or cooked differently.
If I have to HATE a food it would be any highly processed foods..... |

Well this thread has made me laugh! With only a few exceptions all my favourite foods have got a mention. Maybe that's why I get them reduced for quick sale with so much knocked off the full price in supermarkets. That way I can eat very well at knock down prices. |

I don't know how you have the sheer audacity to pubically say that you dislike any cooked fruit in a pie.
That being said
Liver and onions are mank and stink the house out.
Any of that funky shit the fella in the white van pulled up to social clubs trying to shot.
Jellied eels, Cockells, crabsticks, welks, any smelly seafood shit that only sailors and gardparents eat.
Kippers.
Basically any seafood but cod.
Also eggs, it's chicken period mate and smells like fart.
I don't care about the hate coming my way, "let's av it!!" |
