So is Sunday a day of rest for you, or is it just like any other day?

I like to get most of my ironing done whilst listening to Paul O Grady at 5pm on a Sunday....you?

We like to chill out on a Sunday. Lay in.bed and have a chat. Then go for a light lunch before we start work at 4pm.

Over the rainbow, under the bridge

Had a lovely long chat with a friend in Oz this morning - moaning about her feckless hubby which makes me sad. But really great to hear from her all the same. Nice brew - got my robot vaccuum cleaner to do the hoovering whilst I had a drink and a bit of toast with jam. Off out with daughter and then a meet later.

Ahhh!

Before when i wasn't working, life just rolled into one long continuous lifestyle.

Now that i have a set working pattern, my life has more structure too it and almost appreciate the joys of a weekend. If i have the weekend off (i work alternate weekends) i try to do all my housework during the week so that ive 2 solid free days to either relax or go the zoo/aquarium etc

I was supposed to be going to the future mother in laws today with it being mother's day but I'm full of a very bad lingering cold. As my young step granddaughter will be there as well, I don't want to spread my germs too much. Will have to drag myself out to do the food shop with the OH when he gets back but other than that I'm chilling ready to go back to work next week - probably where I got the cold from in the first place!!!

I prefer to rest on Saturdays after working a 5-day week, and go out and about on Sundays.

Its a godly day and it looks like there are more pulpits in this church than pews.
