Now I’ve hit 45 I’m starting to look my age, tired eyes, lines that just won’t disappear no matter how much make up you shovel on it. What I wanted to know does this bother you, does this take away how you deem someone attractive. Especially younger people, I know they say they like older but is it when that older persons face hasn’t withered like a crumpled map or do they not care? |

I don't think it really matters. I like to think I'm going to embrace aging. I like wrinkles and lines. A year or so ago my skin started to show signs of aging. I've got some forehead lines appearing and lots of little creases and lines under my eye. My skin isn't as smooth as it used to be. I think most women look better as they are, rather than the botox look. But if it's making you miserable then you do have the option to change it. But I really don't think many people care about lines and wrinkles. I understand though! I would change a few things about my appearance in a heartbeat if I could. So do what makes you happiest but do it for yourself. |

I have so many lines on my face but they really don’t bother me, they’re just another part of me and I embrace them.
I have some skin care products that I use for my neck and chest area to try and compensate for any sun damage |

It’s the idiosyncrasies and what people might deem imperfections physically that I fall for. It’s your history imprinted, unique to you. I’m reframing aging as something imbued with the beauty of our souls.

"From looking at your photos I suspect fine lines will be if no consequence to anyone . "
body wise I can wear things that help and make me feel confident but if I was to go on a social I don’t think a balaclava would be seen as acceptable ![](/icons/s/mrgreen.gif) |

Everyone gets older. Remember you may have benefited from experience along the way. Someone may benefit from your experience. Try to keep your composure if they in turn pass on some experience along the way. After all you might have enjoyed the experience.
The wrinkles won't go away. I can confess to being sucked off twice by an old granny. Her choice of porno. Didn't learn much from the experience. If your partners don't get older, and it gets easier, you are onto a winner. |

I’m not what you would call a classically attractive person anyway so to me the lines are something that is just a natural progression and won’t be doing anything about it unless there was a miracle cream. Thank you I know what you mean, I would only ever do it for myself

"I'm 37, the wrinkles on my face look like a subway map. It's tragic!!"
I’ve never ridden the subway….. sorry bad joke Though I look at other people and don’t think anything of it…. It’s just looking in that mirror at myself that makes me question things |

In all honesty? I'd notice wrinkles, more so if there are attempts to hide them. I wouldn't be less attracted to someone because of them.
The vast majority of users on here have wrinkles. I don't think it's a bad thing in the slightest. I like seeing someone's story, the way a person's eyes light up and softly crinkle. The wrinkles around lips from smiling with joy in moments that will remain with them.
There's beauty in youth, sure. There's also beauty in those comfortable in their skin, whatever age that is. Embrace it OP. |

I’m other people it doesn’t bother me. I think I was more concerned about going grey but have embraced that. I will keep plastering on the face, neck, eye, busy and all over cream to try to keep them at bay .
No Rox and plastic surgery is not for, I think that catches up with you in the end, fair play to anyone brave enough who does resort to that.
Be confident in being you and the best you can be
