Why have one and let them crap all over the pavements??
Just pick the mess up!!
Or pull the dumb animal into the kerb side and tell them:
"woof woof, this is where I should be doing it!!"

I am a dog lover but it does frustrate me when dog walkers dont keep their animals under control and take responsibility for them .. just last week I was brought off my bike by a dog chasing me and grabbing my foot .. the owner never even appologised |

Must agree with you. The council have painted signs on the pavements around here about no fouling of footpaths and I'm sure the owners let the dogs use them as targets. |

The one thing guaranteed to wind me up is people who let their dog shit everywhere and then don't clean it up, it gives all resposible dog owners a bad name!
Around here I swear I must be the only person who cleans up after my dog. I've taken to carrying extra bags with me and handing them out to people I see walking away with a comment of "oh have you not got a bag? Here, you can have one of mine" |

I have to say in my area there is a lot less dog muck around. Years ago it was like slalomming along the pavement do dodge it all. These days it is rare to see anything. Hefty fines have helped I think. |

Never walk off and leave the dogs crap on the floor, I remember when my daughter was just starting to walk and she almost picked up a lump off the pavement |

I own a dog and ALWAYS pick up after him whether it's at the park or on a pavement. Yes, it means I have to carry a bag of crap around but it's MY dog's crap and so my responsibility.
At my local park, there are a group of inconsiderate prats who don't pick up after their dogs - I trod in a pile the other day in my trekking boots which was a bugger to clean - I was livid!
Kids play in that park ... lads play football. It's totally unacceptable to let your dog crap then just leave it. BIG fines are in order to try and stamp out such antisocial behaviour! |

I always pick up after my dogs but get annoyed when I see people not picking up after theirs. It doesnt take a minute to pick it up but still people dont. It gives us who do a bad name. |

Although I would rather people left some on the bits people don't walk than bag it and drop the bag... It would washed away the next rain but it lies in the bag for months |

We have a dog and are very responsible always clean up after him. The local park where I take him for a walk it drives me nuts when these lazy bastards who can't be arsed to clean up after their animals, gives all us decent owners the same name as them. It is not the animal's fault but the fault of their idiotic owners. Rant over hehehe peace and love resumed. xx |

Very responsible dog owner here, never picked dog shit up and she's 5 years old now , --- why , quite easy, firstly , take dog to an area of roughage, I.e where kiddies SHOULDN'T be playing , then dog gets taken for her exercise , Secondly , dog in 5 yrs never been on a leash, Why, simple , take time to train dog to be obedient to a certain degree, this way when out walking or cycling as we do about 4 times a day the dog can retreat into the bushes , and do her toiletries , Dogs on leashes can only crap where there owners take them ,which is usually on the path, why , because they won't walk into areas where dogs can safely crap incase they get it on there feet, so leave it on path so others can walk in it,. |

Not only does is piss me off to see dog shit everywhere, its seeing the dog bags full of shit that's been tossed into a hedge or dropped where ppl can see. What's the bloody point of going to the trouble of bagging it only to toss it on the floor ??? Mind you, I'm not one to keep me trap shut if I see someone walk off if their dog has had a crap in the middle of the pathway. Id rather shame or embarrass them, than have them leave it for someone like me to walk right through it. Cow and sheep mess I can deal with cos its their field but not dogs
I used to love going down by the river severn for a walk or to the abbey. Its like tip toe through the dog piles now. It'll be even worse come summer..
If ppl can't clean up after their animals then they shouldn't have them. |

Muzzles often don't stop barking but if its a problem have a word with them and see if they can do something about it. I had the same problem a while back and they moved where they kept the dog. |

When an adult makes the decision to be a dog owner they should accept that cleaning up after the dog is the same level of responsibility of pet ownership as is feeding it , if they can, t accept that then they shouldn't have a dog .
We have dogs and ALWAYS clean up their toilet mess.
Drives us mad that some think its " below them " to be a responsible dog owner .......wonder what they would say if one of their own kids came home with dog mess on their shoes / clothing ????? |

That doesn't make a difference as he/she is an alsation so not the quietest of dogs and whether the dog is in the lounge or kitchen, I can unfortunately hear it. They also take it outside both front and back garden and it starts the minute they open the door. Have to say the taxi driver who lives in the block of flats nearby said he struggles to sleep when he has got home late and is pissed off with it too |

she needs to see a behavorist?
one of my dogs will go out the back barking at the fox smells out there.. so if its and unreasonable hour i will take him out on a lead.. apart from that he only goes out a couple of times a day off lead and only barks for a few mins..
but if the dog barks continuous all day she needs to get to a trainer and get some help.. |

To be fair most do pick it up and bin it its only the inconsiderate few.
If they let people upload phone recordings to a shame website for local areas and prosecute if people could be identified it would cut down on a lot o it. |

This is a sore point for me. How many of you are CAT owners. I always keep my dog on a lead, always clean up after him and he is never a nusience to other people.
BUT my front garden is a litter tray for all the cats in the area. I don't see any cat owners cleaning up after them. Why : because cats never shit on their own doorstep.

Someone did that to me but laughed as he thought it was funny for his dog to chase me, He didn't find it funny when I kicked it after it tried to bite me.
For all the years I have had a dog it never ceases to amaze me why people don't clean up after their dogs. |
