Money.
My reasoning simple. If we are stealing something important already then I am bending the rules so that I steal something I need but it can be gained back by them.

i'd st€al my old car back.
except i don't actually want it, because i love my (current) car, dearest Peggy 
but purely because it was st0len from me during an awful point in my life, by someone who should have loved me. and so simply out of spite and to ruin their wednesday morning, i'd st€al my car back.
