Will try b&q in a bit. Its the ignitor that's dead, the ht wire that's fallen out. Was OK for lighting the pilot, but it isn't getting a signal back to say it had lit, so the main burner won't light. |

May sound daft but when my boiler refused to fire up it was because the timer had switched everything off, I turned the hot water and heating on and the boiler fired up. Sorry if it isn't that, I don't wish to seem condescending ... just thought it might be worth checking that too before you go out into the cold. xx |
