I’ve just stumbled across the profile of a work colleague and his wife. I quickly blocked in case they recognised me.
It got me thinking. Has anyone else come across the profile of someone they knew and then decided to meet them for some fun? |

"A work colleague found me on here and wasn't a creep about it. So I took him to his first swingers club "
That was great of you. I’m sure he had a great time. |

"I found a girl I went to school with on here. We met and she was gross. A true love story
I hope she doesn't see this "
She won’t. Thus was a long time ago on a profile that wasn’t about sucking cock through a hole in a door |

He certainly seemed to. Might look at going again once the January lull is out of the way |

I’ve had a message from someone who I went to uni with, saying he always fancied me but was too shy and would love to meet up. Forgot that we followed each other on Instagram, and he is newly engaged with a baby on the way |

We're all adults and it's inevitable we'll bump into people we know. Especially us who live in densely populated areas. It's how we handle these situations that makes the difference.
Probably 90% of the time its a bad idea to message people we know who dont know we know. And if you do want to approach someone do it with tact and sensitivity. Lots of people (including us) get creeped out by people saying they know who we are.
Also some people in our experience seem to think that knowing you outside of fab gives them auto bonus points or insider access. It doesn't and that attitude is creepy.
Personally I would say if you do message them message them as you'd message anyone else. Don't reveal straight away that you know them. See how it flows first. If it's a no from them just block and forget about it. However if its genuinely going somewhere just mention BTW you think you may know them and ask if this a problem to them? Explain if it is a problem you totally respect that, will never mention to anyone or bring it up with them and you will block them and ask they block you. This way you don't creep anyone out needlessly and show you'll totally respect their privacy if they do end up knowing you know. It's just about being respectful and remembering the rules of Fab Club.
Also on the scene we've bumped into to people we know at clubs or bumped into people from the scene out in at shops etc. Again it's about tact and respect. If they see you and avoid eye contact or move away likewise you keep your space from them. They clearly are uncomfortable with it. If they make eye contact, smile and/or say hello you reciprocate (unless you don't want to). Personally we've never experience any awkwardness regarding bumping into people in person. Like I said it maybe be inevitable to bump into people you know but respect and having regard for people's comfort and privacy is key (as you'd hope they have for you).

That’s some excellent advice you’ve given there. Hopefully someone will benefit from it |

Yes but no. I blocked them because their attitude was they knew me so they could fuck me and my attitude was I know you but there’s a reason I’ve not fucked you.
And that reason was I just didn’t fancy them.

A girl from school. It was weird and didn’t work.
I think there is a couple that I know but can’t see enough from their profile to tell for certain and so I have them on my hotlist and waiting to see |

Yes a client of mine after we’d been chatting and swapped face pictures she automatically thought it would lead to sex but it didn’t … lovely lady though. Reminds us what a small world it can be |
