Does anybody respond to them. I've allways responded to the few that I've received wether its a yes please or no thanks, however I've never had a wink that I've sent replied to. Is sending winks pointless? |

I specifically say "don't send winks , if you want to get to know me send a message" so if anyone does wink I just delete (after having a peek at their profile of course!!)
A lot put in "if I send a wink it shows I'm interested please wink back if you are and I'll send a message" which is a good way too! |

Everyone is different, but when i was playing alone i used to respond if i liked the look but i have to say 9/10 i ignored them.

I look at the profile of everyone who winks at me. Sometimes they do not interest me, if they do I either wink back or send a message. |

I think it's funny that people ignore them but then like to tell everyone that they ignore them.
Or go to the effort of deleting them but apparently not looking at them - why not just ignore them then?!
We sometimes miss them or forget them, but when bored it's nice to have a scan through, check out any we like, sometimes wink back, and sometimes send a message. |

I tend not to reply to them to be honest, I never know if they have winked me because they are interested in me as a person or because they have winked every women in their area in the hope at least one will reply |

I don't pay attention to them, I deleted all of mine on Saturday and have 496 since...way too much effort and time consuming to go through them...a message is by far the best approach. |

I hadnt noticed how many I had and when I saw how many recent ones I decided to post about it. Interested in if others like me dont really pay attention to them like me. I am a bit the same for friend invites.
I just like to do some general removing of winks friend invites and sent mail every so often. I know others do similar.
I often wont bother to look who winked at me but just do a mass delete.
We all use the site in different ways. Am sure some pay lots of attention to them x

Why tho do people bother to wink and then do nothing to follow it up if you wink back, especially if their profile states that the wink is a way of gauging mutual interest?!!  |

I suppose for women/couples it's like the messages. If you get loads per day you tend to delete/ignore/cherry pick.
I tend to get one or two a day so can take time to perve the profile, and if I like the look wink back. It's up to them to then message me. If I wink first I message first. |

We tend to reply more to people who have taken time to fab one of our pics. Means they've actually had a look at our profile. Too easy for lazy folk to click "wink" or "send friend request". Ideally a well written message but secondly a fab of a picture is what encourages us to check that person out. |
