I was watching a woman talking about it in a program about love and relationship and she mentioned how love makes us do crazy things
things.
She added the reason was because love makes us feel and do things we usually wouldnt do under any other cirumstances, because love affects the brain in a way similar to any other addiction and not only that, it also affects us psychologically and behaviorally as well.
That makes me wonder, what kind of things would we do and ro you agree with that? One fun example was going to get a pedicure with your girlfriend |

True love makes you do sensible things. When you really love someone you’ll do what’s good for them. Entirely selfless.
The only love that makes you do silly things is the possessive type. The obsessive. The compulsive.
If we all stopped looking for love in others and chose to truly love ourselves first, we’d do what’s right first. |

I don't think love makes us do crazy things.
Limerence perhaps. Even those early stages of infatuation when you find yourself falling for someone. Sure.
But love? Real love? Love makes us takes risks. Do things we wouldn't normally dream of doing, it makes us brave and give us a reason to fight for something. Someone.
Love makes us vulnerable, open up even though it might hurt. Believe in people again. Ourselves for being deservering of it. It makes us think of another, not always put ourselves first. Hope.
I wouldn't say that's crazy. I'd say love makes us brave. Stronger. More who we really are. |

There is no such thing as love.
People use it as an excuse to get other people I.e partner to do something that they would not normally do. It is used to guilt trip people. |

I'm by no means an authority on the subject. I can see why people say the last or obsession side of it, and the doing things because you think you should argument aswell.
But I do think love can make you do crazy things. Bacuse if it dident what's the point. Just existing with somone that makes you meals? I think it's the safety and security that comes with knowing somone and being at peace, and being able to say anything and not have to worry about it.
Well that's my 2 cents lol |

"Not love. But lust, has done that to me, becoming lust blinkered is scary and you have no idea you are in it, I'm lucky to have friends who pulled me out of it " Hi beatrice and yes, it can be lust too and it is good that your friends pulled you out of it too. |

"...since when is a pedicure crazy?
Fuckin' spoil yourselves, lads.
I was wondering the same "
There's a podiatrist in Wales that uses a foot file the size of a tennis bat. She dances around with it to the sound of whale music.
Crazy. |
