...well maybe the same
At least ya know not to message again.
Just gettin ignored. Message stays yellow I understand it can be missed with the volume of messages women get
Yellow message being read and not replied or deleted is very rude. In my opinion |

You don't know how many other messages they have.
Maybe they're having a perv after a long hard day and don't want to deal with the admin of messages right now.
Delete the sent message and any responses are a nice surprise. |

The perennial topic!
If you message someone, pop a private note in their profile to remind yourself in future searches. Then delete your sent message to avoid the anguish of no reply.
Some women get 100s of messages and don’t have the time for fabmin. |

“No” is better, but not feasible. They can’t reply to everyone.
But theirs ambiguity to an Ignore or Delete.
*Maybe they didn’t see your message
*Maybe your message got lost in the shuffle
*Maybe they did an Inbox Purge
You never know |

"If you read site rules, no reply is to be taken as a polite no thank you."
No. It’s not.
It’s described as a no. There is nothing that says it is polite. That’s just how people excuse it.
I’m alright with it delete it, but please don’t try and pass it off as a polite way of saying no.

Op. Just suck it up. I’d prefer a reply, the next best thing is that delete. They’re the ones where I know where I stand. I completely accept that nobody has to do anything in here. We’re all doing our own thing. |

If it stays yellow unopened, take that is its been missed and try again another time
Opened with no reply or deleted and block them. Can’t have uninterested people showing up in your search results
People get a lot of messages and many don’t take too kindly to a “no thanks” so accept no reply as a no thank you and crack into the next |

I understand that. On a meet once with a couple they showed me their phone and they get like 500 messages a weekend.
I'd be lucky to get one ha ha
And that's exactly what I do. Delete and forget and the couple of times I ve had replies I nearly had a stroke ha ha |

A reply then allows a bypass to any future filters put in place so that's why a lot won't reply with a no thanks.
As others have said delete your sent box so any replies may be nice surprises

I can actually reply to everyone who messages me as I don't get many messages thanks to filters. I choose not to reply when the message or profile doesn't interest me. And I really don't care if people think it's rude of me as I have no interest in interacting with them anyhow.
That might sound harsh but I learnt a long time ago on here not to open the door to chats as people continue to try and chat even after you say you're not interested. |

Ok if you're splitting hairs, the rules actually say...
'If you don't get a response, you should assume they aren't interested'
That's wise advice for everyone to follow.

What’s your preferred way to be rejected?
I’m genuinely asking. “Not for me, thanks?” Would that really satisfy you?
There’s no nice way to say you’re not interested in someone. Because you’re not giving them the answer that they wanted.
How do you politely decline when somebody is interested in you and you don’t want to have sex with them? |

That’s right. That’s the exact wording. So where do the polite thing start creeping in? Th
We have to assume.
I am pedantic about it, but being ignored should never be described as polite.
But I do agree with you completely, if we are wise, (we should be as adults haha) we already know what someone not replying means. |

"This again?
Yup! Give me a polite rejection "
Sure here a polite rejection on the internet:
Sorry sugar not for me, but you’ll be exactly what someone is looking for. Happy fabbing.
Here’s a rejection I’ve had (in real life):
You should be gassed.
Guess which one is rude? |

I disagree, a read and delete/none reply imo is a polite way of saying not interested. I understand someone ignoring you in real life is rude, but women online reading and replying to everything is like a celebrity stopping and answering every single question from every single paparazzi, every day they leave their house.
It's gotta be exhausting.
There would come a point where you just walk through the noise and choose the select few you want to have a sit down and have a conversation with. |

I have what I’m looking for in my profile. People who still message regardless looking for something completely different is extremely rude, and they’ll be getting ignored |

When I started on the site I tried to reply no thank you to those who I wasn't interested in.
But it seemed to open a dialogue which men (my experience) take it as the chance to try to convince you. It get tiring so I just delete them now. |

No one is owed anything here.
Even if I promised to have sex with someone, I can change my mind AT THE MEET. While their parts are inside my parts.
And if they keep going anyway, guess what THAT is? |

I'm guilty of looking at the first few words of a message and deleting them.
I don't do it to be a bitch, I just can't be arsed to read them.
I don't turn my filters off for messages as some people on fab I chat too daily so still want those ones to appear. |

Love this response
A picture in hot pics page 3 got me 600 messages over two days.
And they all want a reply?
I wonder how many emails these guys answer in a day at work.
Imagine the women in page 1. |

It’s rude to call someone rude because they don’t match your expected behaviour.
Send a message and delete it from your sent box. If there is an interest you’ll get a response. Anything else is no one else’s business

I actually delete messages that I reply to, if they don't reply I have no idea and that's less disappointment |

"I prefer a delete to a "no" reply. Saves me having to block them.
With No replies, a warning message comes up to remind me of messaging previously "
Does it? So those that repeat message know it's not been read and carry on regardless. Never knew that.
I think no reply is obvious no thank you. |
