Flat Pack

My challenges for today are building an ikea flat pack dining table and chairs and a shoe cabinet...

Who's good at flat pack? I am pretty good but it takes me ages! I fear my day is going to be spent swearing!

I like Flat Pack furniture, but then I enjoyed Lego and Jigsaw puzzles when I was a kid so find assembling them actually quite fun

Dad had one and my brother has it now - I think elbow grease is what I'm going to need to use! On with the joggers and vest top and get on! Blake's at Mum's so that helps!

I'm good at it. But not local today lol. X

I can never ever see why people struggle with it. X

Except when you actually need two people and even then I've found that where there is a will there is a way

Good luck. You should have a swear box, each word earn spanks.

I went to Ikea last week and built a desk, cabinet and DVD holder thingy. Dead easy! It only took longer than it could have done cos I was on here as well.

Just get all the parts out and make sure they are the right way up an all the little fastener bits are all lined up.

Bad planning Rubes!!!

If you'd ordered it all a week earlier you'd have had several pairs of extra hands!!

I'd definitely go get a cheap leccy screwdriver from tesco though - you really don't want all those blisters!!
