Near Wells

Can you find somewhere first, a small flat to rent maybe?

Get a hotel or go to a friends/family member who won’t grill you on all the details so you can rest, get a goodnight sleep and work out a plan tomorrow. Best of luck

Or maybe an Airbnb for a short let until you find something more permanent

Winterlets are really cheap, as certain holiday places offer cheaper out of season rates.

Its hard to break free from a negative relationship.

But for your own sanity its a must. Dont be rash. Be very sure and formulate a plan first.

Squirrel some savings away for a deposit for a cheap flat. Play the long haul game, 6 months, even a year..

Get a good lawyer.

When your prepared, make it swift and sharp, without hesitation.

Have everything moved within a couple of hours. Serve the papers, Break the ties, break the bonds, block the phones, emails, straight after.

Been there, bought the t shirt, hat and pen on this one.

3 years of courts and thousands of pounds pocketed by lawyers, just so I could get access to my children, an ex scorned because I left her and found the arms of another, tried everything to stop me being apart of their lives...

Be careful and smart. Good luck.

Look up EMMAUS the charity has a branch in Sefton, so only over the water. They'll sort out a bed and work on their site if space allows.

They are a french based charity, that helped me out in 1993, so I am qualified to say go-for-it.

0151 928 1588

42-44 Sandy Road, Seaforth, Sefton, L21 3TW

Hope the mods don't block me for posting charity details.

Good luck/bon chance!

A friend if you can. A hotel if you can't manage a friend at short notice.

If you're not leaving right this second, plan, as others have said.

Hopefully you can work out where to go with your partner - deciding together to split up isn’t walking out

Friends or family is probably best initially.

It’s tough pal.

It took me nearly a year to find my own place. And that was after 6 months of trying to live under the same roof after a marriage ended,… which was after 4years of trying to ‘make it work’

My advice, when you KNOW it’s over and irreversible, do everything you can to get in a space where you can rebuild yourself. It’s easier than being around the things that are keeping you down. *just my opinion.

Good luck op, I hope you found (or find) somewhere.
