Are you someone who gets turned on by the written word? Whether that be erotica, or sexting that's more about words than pictures? And if so, what kind of writing do you enjoy - sexy stories, jointly-written scenarios between you and and the person you're sexting?

I do enjoy a sexy text conversation myself, mostly scenarios that both of us contribute to explaining what we might do to each other.

I love erotica. Both spoken & written.

It’s a marvellous insight into someone’s desires and also just ridiculously hot

Dirty talk I love. I enjoy hearing from a woman talking about her 'creamy cunt' and how she enjoys a fucking. Telling me about how her cunt is aching for a fucking. I enjoy telling a woman how I'd like to fuck them.

Yes, I love it when people feel comfortable enough to write honestly about what turns them on. That little element of intimacy gives it an extra buzz.

I didn't realise the Air Fryer cult was a sex cult.

Yes, sometimes. I do love the written word and when that connection is there and it's effortless, I love reading someone's desires. For me. Us. I like that insight into another, the glimpse behind the composed, polite person.

I do find myself ending up wanting them more, a tad frustrated. But when it flows, when there are those little gentle dances around a particular act, thought and you discover they like it just as much as you do? Or you share with them a fantasy you've not discussed with another and you can see happening with them one day?

Well, I can put up with the frustration then.

I adore the written word. It is probably my favourite form of getting to know someone properly other than face to face obviously. If someone can construct exquisite prose then they will literally have me in the palm of their hand… and perhaps other places

Yes there's a definite risk of the sexual tension turning to frustration due to the inability to go beyond the written word...although if you find yourself on someone else's wavelength and they offer you a connection you don't otherwise have, it can still be fun to explore despite the frustration.

I hope you find suitable wordsmiths available when you want them.

Words can work. I sometimes read some stories on Literotica when I’m having a run rather than watch porn.

They have to be really dirty and the words quite coarse. I don’t do genteel erotica.

There's a definite place for gentle, civilised erotica...but also a very definite place for absolute filth

The butchering of the English language kills it for me too often.

Yep, definitely. Both, although I'm a bit of a snob when it comes to stories - it has to be at least at the level of a page-turner thriller, not fan fiction. Jointly written scenarios are good and imo work best when there's a list of preferences and limits shared beforehand - like salt in a dish, can be tailored to taste!
