I'm a social fella, I like chatting to people, having a bit of craic etc.
So I reply to alot of messages.
Obviously when you post a thread most of the replies are aimed at you.
Now I've done my adult duties and I've gone back to reply to messages from a while back I'm conscious it's starting to look like I'm going "ooooh look at me" and keeping my own threads active.
As that a thing?
Am I over analysing.
Should I limited how much I respond? |

You do you! If you want to reply to everyone, do it!
A lot of the time my own threads go nowhere and would be on page 2 in no time if I didn't bump them by replying to those that did comment. But then I get bored and stop because it ends up as me for posting 10 replies in a row.
But do what you enjoy doing, if that's replying to everyone, do it!
That is often how threads take hold and get busy, by the OP making them active. |

most people don't go back to a thread unless its personal to them, so i guess you're wasting your time |

As a gardener, I naturally sow seeds and cultivate but don't much interfere with new life, as seeds find their own way and many may be new hybrids, with an unknown form. I've not been as substantial a bonsai cultivator, as I prefer a more organic growth style.
The beauty of the forum is the diversity of us all. If you enjoy stimulation of your threads, that's fine As you're respectful, it doesn't matter
I give some of my seeds bottom heat (what else! ), whilst others are scattered on wild ground There's never only one way to do many things. |

It’s like anything in life, OP. You’ll find your own groove. You seem like a fun chap and you’ll figure out what works for you in the lounge. If we all did things the same it’d be boring as hell. Do you and enjoy! |

I don't think there are rules. Do what you want OP. I never expect a personal response from the OP, or anyone I quote, when I comment on a thread. I'm just adding my thoughts and may or may not check back later. |
