Mine are:
The Stone Roses
Rage Against The Machine - Battle of Los Angeles
The Beastie Boys - Paul's Boutique
But tonight I'm listening to back to black by Amy Winehouse and although I dont feel sympathy for her directly, I feel sad that she wont make music again.
What's yours? |

So which current albums do people think will become classics?
I'm going to state the obvious and say Adele - 21 |

Is it a classic or just a massive worldwide best seller? Fore there is a huge differnce.
When I first heard the stone roses, I knew that it was something special and ir also crossed over and made indie kids like me get into raves abs dance (of course drugs helped) but it truly was a special and historical moment in music. Can that be said be about Adele? |

"Sex Pistols - Never Mind The Bollocks - Classic album in the way it helped influence music genres we are listening to this day!!"
Great album but from a personal perspective I think 'London Calling' was a bigger influence. I think the Pistols were more infamous than famous. |

Granted... The Clash were more of a dynamic band.. As you are aware started off in a similar vein to the Pistols however, as the years moved on The Clash were willing to draw on varied musical influences themselves i.e Reggae to experiment with their sounds.. |

I think they probably started from a similar place but once the pistols became infamous they followed that course and their main aim was to shock. The Clash followed a different route and drew on other influences. |

Jellyfish, counting crows and Jane's Addiction all in the same list.
Very good selection indeed.
but if you pushed me on one!
Then maybe August and Everything After. (just hits that raw emotional nerve)
but Jellyfish POP sings are amazing.
and Summertime Rolls and Jane Says are gorgeous.
I will have to think of some of my own now.
Musical trip down memory lane, here I come.

Exactly B.. basically what I put.. I still think their first self titled album The Clash was far better than London Calling when you consider their inexperience at the time! |
