It's on all of my playlists except the Extra Light one.
Older ladies with Guitar allergy can't handle it really at work.

Into my Arms - Nick Cave
Claire de lune - Claude Debussy
Song for zula - Phosphorescent
Everything is Free - either Gillian Welch or Blue Rose Code version
Shit! I could go on but this is fully triggering my "Self Pity Indulgence" mode!

Nightswimming by Rem.
The whole album is bathed in a bittersweet hue but this one is perfect for the very specific type of melancholia that occurs in late summer when the nights are drawing in and autumn is on the way. |

"What’s that one song you play on repeat when you’re immersing yourself in melancholia? "
Death parade by roc marciano.
There's something about that beat. |

"Cat Stevens - How Can I Tell You
Peter Green - O Well parts 1&2
Peter Green - Man Of The World
Jim Croce - Time In A Bottle
Are a few to be going on with. "

Peter Green had a lot of them.
I prefer the Gary Moore covers, but like Peter Green. |

I think his voice lent itself very well to the melancholic side of the Macs early output, fuelled by an obvious internal struggle with his own mental health.
I also unforgivably left Reflections Of My Life by The Marmalade off the list. |

I would say his playing was affecting me more than his voice.
I liked his blues stuff, but not a fan of any form of Fleetwood Mac.
I think I like "Go your own way" from their entire career and that's enough of F.M. |

I generally don't do this
However, I was driven into temporary depression once, and played Bowie's "don't let me down & down"

Oh I’m no fan of the Fleetwood Mac that went forward after Peter Green Jeremy Spencer and Danny Kirwan exited.
The original 5 piece were a blues rock band not that awful soft rock middle of the road crap that followed. |

Damn I'm so going to make a playlist. Love melancholy songs.
For me at the moment it's
"Obstacles" by Syd Matters
"I know how to speak" by Manchester Orchestra is worth a special mention too. |
