I block people for a crazy amount of reasons.
-Too far away? Block
-Not a femboy/woman? Block
-They're a weirdo/rude? Block
-Moral disagreements? Block
-They message me and I aint interested? Block
-They cheat on a partner/meet cheaters? Block
Most of the time it aint personal, I just don't want to waste their time/my time with a potential message so for me its a great way to filter. My total goes on for a very long time. |

I don't block a lot. Only those who think is ok to be abusive to other people on a public forum, have extreme views that I find despicable or show total disrespect for those less fortunate in society. |

Local people that aren’t compatible that come up in search, local people that post uninteresting status updates, some from the forums for various different reasons, some for abuse…

1 They don't take no for answer
2 They don't fit what I'm looking for
3 They are an ex lover or friend of some description and were a dickhead to me in some way.
4 They were being a wind up merchant and went too far but made me out to be the dick and were shitty
5 They ask questions about people and me that are none of their business
6 They're someones minion
7 They made a thread about me
8 Their profile or message was grim
9 They cancelled on me
10 They are a negative and horrid Misandrist or Misogynist.

Last time I looked I think I have about 40 on my block list.
Some to stop them appearing on my local updates with their inane statuses.
Some because we aren't compatible.
Some because they have shared my details with others or contacted my verifications asking for my personal info.
Some because I don't like their forum personas and just don't want them looking at my profile.
Some because of how they used to stalk my profile and post status updates about me.
Other than that I can't think of any other reasons. |

But it means they can’t interact with me beyond the forum. And I’ll usually stop interacting with them on the forums. They can’t message me in games. They can’t see my profile. I’m happy with that. |

I block if:
- A profile tells me we're not compatible.
- If something in a photo grosses me out.
- When someone messages me who obviously didn't read my profile.
- If I think their forum posts make them sound like a prick.
The last reason is usually the one.

I’ve been blocked by plenty of people presumably for the same reasons you’ve said but most likely just because of my comments in the forums. I don’t think they’re small minded. I actually respect them protecting their peace. I do the same. This is just an internet forum. We are exposed to plenty of opinions and thoughts we disagree with in life that we can’t and don’t block. It’s ok to protect some spaces in your life. |

32 on my block list and 4 on my hotlist in 1.5 years.
Blocking reasons:
*
1. Counter blocking
(Majority from the forum. Mostly without any private messaging or they contacted first.)
*
2. Blocking people find skin pigmentation a turn off
*
3. People deleted nice message seconds after reading it. I spent much longer time to write the message, read their bio and make sure I know what they want.
Worse than no reply/not read.
*
4. People chat me up. Tell me what they want. Not into something they offer, then being rude about it/ block me/ let me hanging...etc.
*I never block people from the forum, just because I don't like them, they don't like me or I disagree with some of their comment.
Exception is #2^.

I block men that send me repeated messages when I haven’t replied to the first 3 or 4
I block if they send me abuse
If they are married
If they make nasty or defamatory comments about women
If their profiles are grim - one guy had loads of photos of his gaping arsehole - no one EVER needs to see that.
