Put some hot water bottles filled with cold water in the freezer, then before you go to bed put them under the covers or sheet.
Makes the bed freezing cold
Or put a clean bed sheet in the fridge for a few hours then put in on the bed before you get in. |

"I get so hot in bed and it's not the menopause. I have my windows wise open, I sleep naked with covers off me. I can't find my fan.
Any tips"

"Had your thyroid checked recently? No I havent
Could well be that. I was having hot sweats and other symptoms, thought I was perimenopausal, and had tests and my thyroid wasn't working properly " I will have to look into that as I'm long past the menopause. Thankyou |

I used some of those gel pads that you can get for your pets only on, they activate by pressure and don’t need to be pre chilled or frozen and also don’t make anything else wet. Maybe laying on them may help?
Possibly a wet flannel round your neck and on your forehead may help too. I hope you find some relief. |
