Jewelled ones are largely for show and can sometimes sacrifice comfort for it.
Unless they're really good.
For comfort, better buying a simpler design that 'looks' right for your specific need (long and thin, etc.)
High quality glass can be teperature controlled for extra comfort too. Rarely ever see a good review of silicone but some people say its their choice.
Just find your fit first and expand on that.
