Christmas and New Year can be mentally and emotionally challenging, especially and in particular for those who live alone.

Keep yourself warm. Plenty of fluids. Lemon and honey. Menthol vapour over bowl of hot water, steam it out, sweat it out. Bed rest. |

As someone who is no fan of New Years Eve I’d say…..
Just remember, it’s just another day. Tomorrow is a fresh start of a New Year. Look forwards not backwards.
More people will be at home in bed than you think. You are not alone.

I will be alone, to me it is just another Sunday night in with a good bottle of wine.
This will be my 83rd New year, I think I lost interest around the 1980s, the 1960s and 1970s were by far the best. |
